Restorative yoga uses props to support the body in positions of ease and comfort and to facilitate health, well-being, and deep relaxation.
This restorative yoga workshop offers complete instruction and immersion in this deeply renewing practice. When supported with props, the body relaxes and opens, releasing tension and stored-up toxins that can cause illness. Restorative yoga offers benefits to both the body and mind, for a wide range of conditions such as insomnia, asthma, chronic pain, migraines and depression.
In this workshop, you will be guided to rest for several minutes at a time in a series of supported postures designed to re-energize your body and to rebuild your immune system. Props like bolsters and blankets will be used to skillfully create simultaneous openness and relaxation.
Restorative yoga is ideal for anyone craving deep relaxation and a time to slow down. Poses are designed to support the body in ways that will provide you with an opportunity to renew, relax, and heal. The antidote to stress is to relax deeply. Give yourself this gift!
